Also, a blue needle may not be used for sewing stretch, very fine or synthetics. Check if the needle thread is not threaded properly, the needle is defective (rusted, burr on needle eye or tip), so change the needle. The embroidery hoop may not be set properly, or the fabric is not stretched tightly enough on the embroidery hoop. Finally, a purple needle may not be used for sewing thick fabrics, denims and across the hem.
