Section 2 System Components and Description
2.2 Trim Components
e following components complete the set up of any Mv or Lv Series System regardless of the specific
arrangement or number of cylinders utilized.
2.2.1 Pressure Gauge Assembly
P/N 25804 (See Figure 2.2.1)
A pressure gauge for each cylinder provides a reliable means of monitoring the internal pressure condition
of the cylinder as mandated by
NFPA 17. e Mv and Lv Series
pressure gauge has a swivel nut
and O-ring seal allowing it to
connect to the Mv and Lv Series
cylinder valves at the pressure
gauge connection. e pressure
gauge ports of the Mv and Lv
Series cylinder valves contain a
Schrader valve that seals when the
gauge is absent. Refer to Section
4.1.4.1 regarding installation and
removal of the pressure gauge
assembly.
