3.2.4.1.2 Temperature Limitations
e operating temperature range for the system components used in Standard Total Flood applications is
-40°F to 120°F (-40°C to 49°C).
3.2.4.1.3 Agent Application
Each Total Flood Nozzle must discharge a minimum of 2.09 lbs (0.95 kg) of dry chemical agent per second
when mounted at a height of 12 ft (3658 mm) or less (a minimum flow rate of 2.09 lb/s (0.95 kg/s)). Each
Total Flood nozzle must discharge a minimum of 2.37 lbs (1.07 kg) of dry chemical agent per second when
mounted at a height between 12 ft (3658 mm) and 20 ft (6096 mm) (a minimum flow rate of 2.37 lb/s (1.07
kg/s)). e Janus Design Suite® Flow Calculation Software will determine the amount of dry chemical
agent required to meet these flow rates based on the hazard dimensions and number of nozzles required.
