1 Rotate the funtion dial to and press the MENU button.
•The playback mode menu is displayed on the LCD monitor.
2 Press the or key so that[FOLDERS] is highlighted and
press key.
3 Press the or key so that [New] is highlighted and press
key.
4 Press or key select the character you desire and press
the key for determine.
•If you won't give a new name, press the menu button back to playback menu.

You could give the folder a new name in the FOLDER-NEW mode, determine the last 5 character arbitrary.

Even if other digital camera supporting the DCF format is used to record the captured images in the
CF card, you can insert the CF card into this camera and play back the images by selecting the partic-
ular folder name of other digital camera in the playback mode menu.
