2-1-3 Replacing the θ-Motor
After the θ-motor has been replaced, it is absolutely necessary to reacquire the MS parameters
related to the axis home. (For the items to be acquired, see section 2-2, Re-adjustment after
Replacing the Head.)
Replace the θ motor with the head dismounted from the machine.
For the [] parts of the work procedures below, also refer to the work contents of “2-1-1 Replacing
the Head Unit” and “2-1-2 Replacing the Z-Motor”.
1) Remove the head unit according to the procedures of “2-1-1 Replacing the Head Unit”.
2) Remove the head SV bracket.
3) Remove the Z motor cable stay.
4) Remove the T sensor bracket.
5) Remove the T motor plate assembly screws (4) and remove the θ motor.
6) Loosen the set screws (4) of the T pulley and T pulley flange and remove the T pulley.
7) Remove the T motor plate.
8) Reassemble the components in the reverse order of disassembly.
9) Adjust the belt tension according to the following <Belt tension adjustment procedure>.
10) After assembly, please get MS parameters.
