16 Installing the EX2500 Switch in a 4-Post Rack
Perform the following steps to mount the EX2500 switch in a 4-post rack:
1. Use the M4 screws to attach a horizontal rail to each side of the switch
(Figure 6). Torque the screws to approximately 10 inch-pounds (1.1 Nm).

2. Use the M6 screws, washers, and clip nuts to connect the horizontal rail to the
front posts in the rack (Figure 7). Torque the screws to approximately
70 inch-pounds (8.0 Nm).
