Avoiding Misuse
9 Setting the child lock will disable the buttons
on the unit and the remote control.
9 If the tray lock is set, the disc tray will not
function even when OPEN/CLOSE is
pressed.

NOTE:
0 Timer recording will be performed even when the
child lock is set.
To Disable Operation (Child Lock)
When the unit is turned on
Press and hold STANDBY/ON on the
remote control for more than 10 seconds.
0 ACLB is displayed on the front display panel for a few
seconds.
To cancel the child lock
Perform the same operation.
To Lock the Disc Tray (Tray Lock)
When the unit is turned off
While holding STOP/CLEAR ( o) on the
unit, press OPEN/CLOSE (M).
0 ALOCKB is displayed on the front display panel for a
few seconds.
To cancel the tray lock
Perform the same operation.
0 AUNLOCKB is displayed on the front display panel for
a few seconds.
