Auto Setup
9 Auto setup is a function to easily set this
unit’s receiving channel, clock and guide
programme number by selecting the region.

PREPARATION:
0 Switch TV/DVD on the remote control to DVD.

IMPORTANT:
0 In areas where the PDC (Programme Delivery
Control) signals are not transmitted, the clock and
guide programme number cannot be automatically
set.
A Turn on the unit.
0 To turn on using the unit, press STANDBY/ON.
0 The area selection screen will be displayed
automatically.
B Select your country name.
C Select “AUTO SET”.
0 The AUTO SET screen will be displayed, and
auto setup is performed.
0 While AUTO SET is in progress, AAUTOB will be
displayed on the front display panel. Do NOT
press any button on the unit or the remote control
during this time. To cancel, press ENTER.
The ASCAN COMPLETEDB screen will be displayed
when AUTO SET is completed.
