Just Dubbing from VHS to
DVD

9 Just Dubbing from a VHS tape to a DVD disc
can be easily done with one touch. The
recording time on the VHS tape is
automatically calculated, and the recording
mode is automatically adjusted to fit the
DVD disc’s disc remaining capacity exactly.

NOTES:
0 Select AL/RB, ALB, ARB, or ANORMB for the playback
sound.
0 Depending on the disc used, the disc remaining time
may not be 0:00:00.
It is not possible to dub in the following instances.
0 When the DVD disc’s remaining capacity is
insufficient, or when 99 programmes have been
recorded.
0 When no VHS tape or DVD disc is loaded.
0 When the dubbing screen or setup menu screen is
displayed.
0 During recording/playback.
A Load the tape for playback, and a
recordable disc.
B Start dubbing.
For DVD-RW/-R (Video mode)
Set the playback sound.
A Select the playback sound.
B Select ACONFIRMB.
For DVD-RAM, DVD-RW/-R (VR mode)
0 Automatically sets to AL/RB, and the screen will
not be displayed.
When dubbing ends, the broadcast
screen appears automatically after a
message is displayed.
To cancel a dubbing that is in progress
A
Press STOP/CLEAR ( o).
B Select ACANCELB, then press ENTER.
