Dubbing from VHS to HDD
or DVD (1 Programme)
A Load the tape to play.
0 When dubbing to a DVD disc, load a recordable
disc.
B Select VHS

HDD or VHS

DVD in step B of Dubbing between
HDD and DVD Deck, then select 1
PROG.. [ P72]
C Set the recording mode.
A Select the recording mode.
B Select ACONFIRMB.
0 See ARecording ModeB [ P92]
D Pause playback at the scene that you
wish to dub.
0 Locate the recording start point with O/N,
then pause playback.
E Select EXECUTE.
If the index signal (VISS) of the VHS is
detected, dubbing ends, and the
broadcast screen appears automatically
after a message is displayed.
To cancel a dubbing that is in progress
A
Press STOP/CLEAR ( o).
B Select ACANCELB, then press ENTER.

9 Dubbing only one of the programmes
recorded on a VHS tape to the HDD or a
DVD disc is possible.

NOTES:
0 When the HDD or DVD disc runs out of disc
remaining time, the tape will automatically stop at
that position and dubbing will cease.
If dubbing to DVD-RW/-R (Video mode)
0 For discs in Video mode, switching of audio during
playback is not possible.
Set to AMAINB or ASUBB in the Setup menu
[ P111] N.
