Section 10 – Test Condition
Section 10.1.b
If a test input type is used as the cause in a test mode cause and effect, this input must be configured so that it is only available at
Access level 2, by use of a key input or some other access restriction. This input must be configured as non-latching and can only be
cleared by a manual operation at access level 2.
Section 12.5 – Integrity of Transmission Paths
Section 12.5.2
A short circuit isolator must be fitted to the detection circuit at a maximum interval of 32 detection devices and manual call points.
Section 12.6 – Accessibility of indications and controls

The panel door must be locked and the key removed.
Appendix B – IMO FSS code Configuration Requirements
In order to meet the requirements of IMO FSS code, the panel must be configured with the settings stated below.
IMO FSS code Section 2.1.1 – Manually operated call points shall not be configured with a delay upon operation.
IMO FSS code Section 2.1.4.2 – Arrangements shall be made to enable the initial configuration of the system to be restored. This
can be achieved by making a copy of the configuration file and configuration software available to service personnel.
IMO FSS code Section 2.5.1 – All sounders shall be configured with 2 minute first and second stage delays See section 11 of this
manual.
