A13 Rear Panel I/O Port Module
The Rear Panel I/O Fast Control Port board is a single removable module that
fits into the rear panel slot on the UXG instrument. There are two
configurations for the Rear Panel I/O Fast Control Port board, Option CC1 or
CC2.
Option CC1 module provides a hardware interface to the FCP features. Control
parameters are sent on a data bus from the rear panel connector using pulse
descriptor words.
Option CC2 module provides control of frequency and FM deviation parameters
through a BCD interface that is compatible with the following instruments.
— Aeroflex 2200
— Aeroflex 2500
— Aeroflex FS2000
— Aeroflex FS5000
A14 Lowband/Highband Switch
The A14 Lowband/Highband Switch Assembly routes the output of the DAC
board to either the Multiplier board or the Lowband Output board. It is
controlled by the DAC board.
A15 RF Deck Interface
The A15 RF Deck Interface assembly provides an interface between the RF and
microwave assemblies and A12 DAC board. The RF deck Interface assembly
communicates and controls between the DAC Board and all of the
