Baud Rate Selection (RS-232)
You can select one of six baud rates for RS-232 operation. The rate is set to 9600
baud when the meter is shipped from the factory.
– Select one of the following: 300, 600, 1200, 2400, 4800, or 9600 baud (factory
setting).
– The baud rate selection is stored in non-volatile memory, and does not change
when power has been off or after a remote interface reset.
– Front Panel operation: set the baud rate under the 3: BAUD RATE command in
the I/O menu.

– Remote operation: use the following commands to set the baud rate:
SYStem:COMMunicate:SERial:BAUD <baud>
If you change the baud rate over the remote interface, you may lose control of the
meter.
