Driving your vehicle Drive mode integrated control system
The mode changes when you toggle
the DRIVE MODE button.
When COMFORT mode is selected, it
is not displayed on the instrument
cluster.
䳜 ECO mode :
ECO mode helps improve fuel effi

ciency for eco-friendly driving.
䳜 COMFORT mode :
COMFORT mode provides smooth
driving and comfortable riding.
䳜 SPORT mode :
SPORT mode provides sporty but
firm riding.
The drive mode will change to COM
-
FORT mode when the engine is
restarted. However, except when it
is in ECO mode and SMART mode.
ECO mode and SMART mode will be
maintained, as selected when the
engine is restarted.
When changing the drive mode set
-
ting, the responsiveness of Smart
Cruise Control (SCC) changes. (If
equipped)
ECO mode
When the Drive Mode is set
to ECO mode, the engine
and transmission control logic are
changed to maximise fuel efficiency.
䳜 When the ECO mode is selected
by using the DRIVE MODE button,
the ECO indicator will illuminate.
䳜 Whenever the engine is restarted,
the drive mode remains in ECO
mode.
Fuel efficiency depends on the
driver's driving habit and road condi

tion.
When ECO mode is activated:
䳜 The acceleration response may be
slightly reduced as the accelera

tor pedal is depressed moder

ately.
䳜 The air conditioner performance
may be limited.
䳜 The shift pattern of the auto

matic transmission may change.
䳜 The engine noise may get louder.
