Maintenance Climate control air filter
If the vehicle is operated in
extremely dusty or sandy areas,
replace the element more often
than the usual recommended inter

vals. (Refer to "Maintenance under
severe usage conditions - for
Europe (Except Russia)" on page 7-
25, "Maintenance under severe
usage conditions - except Europe
(Including Russia)" on page 7-32.)

removed; this will result in exces

sive engine wear.
䳜 When removing the air cleaner fil

ter, be careful that dust or dirt
does not enter the air intake, or
damage may result.

professional workshop. Kia rec

ommends to visit an authorised
Kia dealer/service partner.
Climate control air filter
Filter inspection
The climate control air filter should
be replaced according to the main
-
tenance schedule. If the vehicle is
operated in severely air-polluted
cities or on dusty rough roads for a
long period, it should be inspected
more frequently and replaced ear
-
lier. When you replace the climate
control air filter, replace it perform
-
ing the following procedure, and be
careful to avoid damaging other
components.
1. Open the glove box and remove
the stoppers(1) on both sides.
