call to response teams. The Pan-
European eCall system is an auto

matic emergency call service made
in event of a traffic accident or

accidents on the roads of
Europe. (only in countries with regu

lation on this system)
The system allows contacting with
an officer of the single duty dis
-
patch service in case of accidents on
the roads of Europe. (only in coun
-
tries with regulation on this system)
The Pan-European eCall system
given conditions, stated in the
Owner's Manual as well as Warranty
and Service book transmits data to
the Public Safety Answering Point
(PSAP) including such information as
vehicle location, vehicle type, VIN
(vehicle identification number of the
car).
Once the data which is stored in the
Pan-European eCall system is deliv
-
ered to the rescue centre to assist
the driver and passengers with
proper rescue operations, the data
will be deleted after rescue opera
-
tion is completed.
*1. Pan-European eCall device in the
Owner's Manual means equipment,
installed in the car, which provides
connection with the Pan-European
eCall system.
*2. "Other accidents" mean any acci
-
dents on the roads of Europe (only
in countries with regulation on this
system) resulted in injured people
and/or necessity of provision of
assistance. In case of registration of
any accident, it is necessary to stop
a vehicle, press button SOS (location
of the button is specified on the pic

ture in the chapter "Pan-European
eCall (IF EQUIPPED)") of the Owner's
Manual. When making a call, the
system gathers information about
the car (from which a call was
made), after which connects the car
with an officer of the Public Safety
