7-2 Remote Control PLZ-4W
7.1 Overview
In addition to using the front panel controls, the PLZ-4W can be controlled remotely
using the following interfaces.
• RS232C interface
• GPIB interface
• USB interface
The remote interface accepts two formats of commands: IEEE 488.2 common com-
mands and SCPI commands.
The interface is selected from the front panel.
The PLZ-4W conforms to the following standards.
• IEEE Std 488.2-1992 IEEE Standard Codes, Formats, Protocols, and Com-
mon Commands For Use With IEEE Std 488.1-1987
• IEEE Std 488.1-1987 IEEE Standard Digital Interface for Programmable
