Remove the unit compartment cover (see
page 4-15)
Remove the Run capacitor and the Relay /
Overload (See page 4-18)

Access the sealed system and discharge the
refrigerant into an approved recovery sys-
tem.
Unbraze the suction and discharge lines from
the compressor.
Cut the filter / drier (do not use a torch) from
the system.
Remove the three bolts that secure the com-
pressor to the unit.
Lift the compressor out of the unit.

REMOVE COMPRESSOR
WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
Remove the Run Capacitor
and Relay / Overload
