8.15 Optional High Pressure Dump Valve
The high pressure dump valve assembly includes a normally open high pressure water valve and
a solenoid operated air valve. The following procedure is recommended for servicing the high
pressure dump valve. Failure to follow this procedure will cause damage to the stem, valve seat,
or both.
The high pressure dump valve is a safety device designed to instantly release high
pressure from the system. Proper maintenance is imperative to prevent potential
personal injury.
