6.3.2 Booster Pump
If booster pressure, as read on the booster pump discharge pressure gage is not
8.0-8.3 bar (115-120 psi), the booster pump needs to be adjusted.
Components: (1) Booster pump
(3) Relief valve set screw
Recommended Tools: Flat screwdriver (To turn pressure control knob)
Container (To capture some water spill)
Rags
Parts: None required
Booster Pump Adjustment Procedure
1. Turn on cutting water supply
2. Start waterjet pump and observe booster discharge pressure
3. Stop waterjet pump and press E-Stop button.
4. Remove acorn nut from the side of the booster pump and turn screw
clockwise to increase pressure or counter-clockwise to decrease pressure.
5. Replace acorn nut, restart waterjet pump and observe booster discharge
pressure.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 if necessary.
