LADDERS
A diagonally mounted ladder (7, Figure 2-1) pro-
vides an easy and safe path for the operator to
mount and dismount the truck. In addition, a vertical
ladder (6) is available if emergency exit from the cab
is necessary. Anti-skid material is placed at various
places on the decks and ladder platform area. Be
certain this material is in good condition and replace
when worn.
The diagonal ladder must be removed from the
truck if it becomes necessary to remove the radiator
or the complete power module for major repairs.
When removing the ladder(s), check to be certain all
wiring and hoses which may be attached to the
structure have been removed.
