Prerequisites

Procedure
1Placethetransponderandtransponderrackonthe
oor.
2Mountthetransponderinthetransponderrackby
fasteningtheclampsaroundthetransponder.
3Securetheclampswithscrewsandtightenthem
properly.
4Connecttheinterfacecabletothetransponderand
theotherendtotheexternalinclinometer.
Alwaysapplygreasebeforematingconnectors.
SubConn
®
connectorsshouldnotbeexposedto
extendedperiodsofheatordirectsunlight.Ifa
connectorbecomesverydry,itshouldbesoaked
infreshwaterbeforeuse.
5Makesurebothunitsfacethesamedirection.
FWDismouldedintothecoatingofthesensor
moduleonthetransponderanditisengravedintothetopendcapofthesensorunit.
6Mountthearrangementtothecustomer’sstructure.
7AdjusttheoffsetvaluesinAPOStomakesuretheanglesarecorrect.
Installingaseacurrentmeter
Thetranspondermusthaveansensorinterface(Si)endcaptobeabletoconnectthe
externalsensor.
