Preparing to start the engine

Sit down on the operator seat

Notices on starting the engine
In order to avoid damage to the engine and the exhaust turbocharger due to
insufficient lube oil supply:
☞Do not run the cold engine at full throttle when starting
☞Let the engine warm up at low idling speed (1/4 throttle) for about 30 seconds
☞When the engine runs smoothly, check whether indicator lights 38 and 40
have gone out
☞Have a malfunctioning indicating instrument immediately replaced
In order to avoid damage to the starter, do not stop the engine and immediately
start it again.
☞After stopping the engine, wait 10 seconds before starting it again.
When ignition is switched on, all indicator lights on the indicating instrument
illuminate briefly. – indicator light check!
