7.2.1 Check List for Initial Operation
• Install the machine according to assembly instructions of the machine.
• Check all screws and nuts for firm attachment, observe prescribed torque.
• Check all sensors to make certain they are correctly seated. Check the setting values and
set them, if necessary. Observe prescribed tightening torque.
• Check safety devices.
• Lubricate the machine.
• Check the oil on all gearboxes.
• Adapt the hydraulic system to the tractor.
• Check the density of the hydraulic system.
• Check whether the tractor meets the requirements of the machine.
• Check axle loads, minimum ballast and total weight.
• Adapt the coupling points to the tractor, is necessary.
• Check universal shaft length and adapt the length, if necessary.
• In transport position, the cross conveyor must be checked for firm attachment.
• Check the conveyor belt setting and the running behaviour, depending on the equipment of
the machine; refer to chapter Special Equipment “Conveyor Belt Setting”.
• Vent the friction clutches.
• Perform all machine functions (e. g. lifting and lowering) one after the other until the
hydraulic system is vented.
