11.9 Moving the Cross Conveyor

The cross conveyors can be adapted by moving to the operating conditions of the crop.
Moving the cross conveyor:
• Raise the cross conveyor belts until the dimension is X= 13 cm.
Measured between rubber pad and frame. As a result, the cross conveyors are mounted on a
pendulum bearing after the nut (3) is released. They can be moved manually.
• Close stop cock (2).
• Switch off tractor engine, secure the tractor from rolling away and remove the ignition key.
• Loosen the nuts (3), do not unscrew them completely.
• Move cross conveyor belts manually.
• Tighten nuts.
• Open stop cock.

If a cross conveyor bar (1) is bent in the outside area by contact with foreign object, the bent
area (a) must be cut off close to the nearest rivet (2).
This will prevent further destruction to the bar or cross conveyor bar.
