10.3 Lubrication
Except when lubricating the intermediate pto-shaft,
the machine must always be in transport position for
any maintenance or repair work (knife replacement,
lubrication, etc).
- Clean grease nipples before greasing.
Working on the machine
To access the cutterbar:
- Place the machine in working position.
- Release and lower lateral parking stand.
- Release and raise the front hood using 18mm box
spanner supplied with the machine.
After having carried out any maintenance or repairs
on the machine:
- Release and lower the front hood.
- Fold up side parking stand and lock it in place.
The pictorials show the points to be greased.
Lubricate with multi-purpose grease grade
NLGI 2.
