10.4.6 Belt tension
- Regularly check belt tension and in particular
during the first hours of use.
Loose belts slip excessively which reduces crop
ejection quality and can cause conditioning rotor
clogging.
Checking the tension:
The tensioning device ensures correct tension as
long as washer (3) is in contact with tube (4).
- Readjust if necessary:
• Loosen counter nut (1).
• Tighten nut (2) until washer (3) is in contact with
tube (4).
• Tighten counter nut (1).
Regularly check belt tension and in particular
during the first hours of use.
