Pitch EG Parameters
Use the Pitch Envelope generator parameters to modulate the pitch of each note played
by the layer over time. Pitch can be modulated by up to 4 octaves up and down from the
original pitch of each note played.
All Rate parameters can be set to rate values from 0-99. Smaller rates make changes happen
slowly, while larger rates make changes happen quickly.
All Level parameters can be set to values from 0-99, where 50 is equivalent to the original
pitch of the note played or no modulation, 0 is equivalent to -48 half steps from the original
pitch of the note played, and 99 is equivalent to +48 half steps from the original pitch of the
note played.
Rate 1, Level 1
When a note is played, the Rate 1 parameter determines the rate at which the pitch changes
from Level 4 to Level 1.
Rate 2, Level 2
When a note is played and the Pitch has reached Level 1, the Pitch begins to change to Level
2. e Rate 2 parameter determines the rate at which the pitch changes from Level 1 to Level
2.
Rate 3, Level 3
When a note is played and the pitch has reached Level 2, the pitch begins to change to Level
3. e Rate 3 parameter determines the rate at which the pitch changes from Level 2 to Level
3.
e pitch remains at Level 3 for as long as a note is held.
Rate 4, Level 4
When a note is played and released, the pitch begins to change to Level 4. e Rate 4
parameter determines the rate at which the pitch changes from its current pitch to Level 3.
