thatallowspeoplewhoaredeaf,hardofhearing,orwhohavespeechorlanguagedisabilities,to
communicatebytelephone.
YourphoneiscompatiblewithselectTTYdevices.PleasecheckwiththemanufacturerofyourTTY
devicetoensurethatitsupportsdigitalwirelesstransmission.YourphoneandTTYdevicewill
connectusingaspecialcablethatplugsintoyourphone’sheadsetjack.Ifthiscablewasnot
providedwithyourTTYdevice,contactyourTTYdevicemanufacturertopurchasetheconnector
cable.

(PSAPs),renderingsomecommunicationsunintelligible.Theproblemencounteredappears
relatedtoTTYequipmentorsoftwareusedbyPSAPs.Thismatterhasbeenbroughttothe
attentionoftheFCC,andthewirelessindustryandthePSAPcommunityarecurrentlyworkingto
resolvethis.
