toconnectandaccessresourcesinsideasecuredlocalnetwork,suchasyourcorporatenetwork.
Prepare Your Phone for VPN Connection
DependingonthetypeofVPNyouareusingatwork,youmayberequiredtoenteryourlogin
credentialsorinstallsecuritycertificatesbeforeyoucanconnecttoyourcompany’slocalnetwork.
Youcangetthisinformationfromyournetworkadministrator.
BeforeyoucaninitiateaVPNconnection,yourphonemustfirstestablishaWi-Fiordata

Install Security Certificates
Yournetworkadministratormayinstructyoutodownloadandinstallsecuritycertificatestoconnect
tothenetwork.
1. DownloadandinstallthecertificatesneededtoaccessyourlocalnetworkintoamicroSDcard.
Yournetworkadministratorcantellyouhowtodothis.
2. InsertthemicroSDcardintoyourphone.SeeInsertamicroSDCard.

installthenecessarysecuritycertificates.
Add a VPN Connection
UsetheWireless&networkssettingsmenutoaddaVPNconnectiontoyourphone.

2. Ifyouareaskedtosetupascreenlock,touchOKandsetuparequiredtypeoflock.Tosetupa
screenlock,seeScreenLock.
3. TouchAdd VPN profile,andthenentertheinformationfortheVPNyouwanttoadd.
l InformationmayincludeName,Type,Serveraddress,PPPencryption(MPPE),and
advancedoptions.
l Setupalloptionsaccordingtothesecuritydetailsyouhaveobtainedfromyournetwork
administrator.
