U061 Turning the exposure lamp on
Description
Turns the exposure lamp on.
Purpose
To check the exposure lamp.
Method
1 Press the print key. The screen for selecting an item is displayed.
2 Press the print key. The exposure lamp lights.
3 To turn the exposure lamp off, press the stop/clear key.
Completion
Press the stop/clear key. The screen for selecting a maintenance item No.
is displayed.
U063 Adjusting the shading position
Description
Changes the shading position.
Purpose
Used when white lines continue to appear longitudinally on the image after
the shading plate is cleaned. This is due to flaws or stains inside the
shading plate. To prevent this problem, the shading position should be
changed so that shading is possible without being affected by the flaws or
stains.
Method
1 Press the print key. The screen for adjustment is displayed.
2 Change the setting using the Up/Down keys.
Increasing the setting moves the shading position toward the machine
right, and decreasing it moves the position toward the machine left.
3 Press the print key. The value is set.
Interrupt copy mode
While this maintenance item is being performed, copying from an original
can be made in interrupt copy mode.
