8. Remove the screw holding the fixing heater front retainer and then the retainer.
9. Pull fixing heaters M and S out from the front of the fixing unit.

10. Replace fixing heaters M and S.
∗ When fitting, place fixing heater M on the right and S on the left, as viewed form the
fixing unit front.
∗ Fit the white connector on the rear of the fixing unit to heater M, and the red one to
heater S.
11. Refit all removed parts.
