Check if CN15-10 on the engine PCB goes
low when the lower paper switch is turned
on with 5 V DC present at CN15-8 on the
engine PCB. If none, replace the lower pa-
per switch.
Reinsert the connector. Also check for
continuity within the connector cable. If
none, remedy or replace the cable.
Check if CN14-A4 on the engine PCB goes
low when the bypass paper switch is turned
on with 5 V DC present at CN14-A2 on the
engine PCB. If not, replace the bypass
paper switch.
Reinsert the connector. Also check for
continuity within the connector cable. If
none, remedy or replace the cable.
Reinsert the connector. Also check for
continuity within the connector cable. If
none, remedy or replace the cable.
Check if CN8-A8 on the engine PCB goes
low when the upper paper length switch is
turned on. If not, replace the upper paper
length switch.
Check if the levels of CN9-19, CN9-20 and
CN9-21 on the engine PCB change
alternately when the width guide in the upper
drawer is moved. If not, replace the upper
paper width switch.
Check the drawer paper size and reset.
