Air Flow Sensor Kit No. 3405500
Note: A qualified certifier must install and calibrate this sensor to obtain
accurate operation.
Note: Exercise caution when working on the exhaust filter cover, to prevent
damaging the Exhaust HEPA filter.
Installation Procedure-Units without the Ventus Canopy Connection
1. Disconnect power to the Biosafety Cabinet.
2. Loosen the two Phillips screws on the front sides of the
exhaust cover, as shown
3. Tilt the exhaust cover up to access the
underside of the cover.
4. Remove the two screws that hold the airflow
sensor into its body, as shown. DO NOT pull
the sensor out of the body.
5. Position the sensor so that the
screen on the sensor body is
oriented towards the front of
the cover on the underside of
the exhaust cover, as shown.
Insert and tighten the screws
from the top side of the cover.
