3.4 - HOW TO WEIGH MANUALLY
In the Manual Weighing Activity, it is possible to perform loading or unloading operations
without programming any values beforehand. The possibility to execute partial weighing
operations while displaying the Net Weight or the Total Weight allows an unlimited number
of Ingredients/Unloads to be loaded or unloaded.
The operating mode is determined by the programming, in the Technical Procedures,
of the following Preferences: Display Resolution, Unit of Weight, Decimal Places, Date
Format, Print Heading, Language, Automatic Tracking. The following operations are
described considering that the Preferences are programmed with the default settings.
1. At the switching on the equipment automatically enters the Recipe Programming
Activity. The PROG. symbol lights up on the display and the [ recipe name ] message
appears. To select the Manual Weighing Activity, press the Man./Zero key. The
display lights up the MAN. symbol and the [
MANUAL
] message appears on the
display.
If however the Activity at Switching On Preference (code 63) has been set to Manual,
the equipment will enter the Manual Weighing Activity directly at switching on.
2. After 2 seconds the [
GROSS WEIGHT
] and [
T:
x
], messages will appear on the
display, where T indicates the Total Weight, where x indicates the weight value.
3. To view the Net Weight press the Net/Total key.
The [
NET WEIGHT
] and [
N:
x
] messages will appear on the display, where N
indicates the Net Weight and x indicates the weight value.
4. Start the loading or unloading operations. The loaded weight or the unloaded weight
with a negative sign will appear on the display. Interrupt the weighing operations
when the weight on the display reaches the desired value.
5. To carry out a new weighing operation, press the Man./Zero key.
The [
ZERO
] and [
N: 0
] messages will appear on the display. To continue,
repeat the procedure from point 4.
6. To view the Total Weight press the Net/Total key.
7. To exit from the Manual Weighing Activity, press the Prog./Start key.
The [
QUIT
] message will appear on the display. The equipment will return to the
Recipe Programming Activity.
r Important: when using the Recipe Programming Activity it is also possible to:
• Press the Tare key to activate the No-Load Tare Function.
• Press the Block key to activate the Weight Block Function.
• Press the Ingr. key to select the Weighing with Threshold Activity.
• Press the Menu key to select the Special Function Menu.
• Press the ID/Print key for 2 seconds to activate the Identification Code Function.
• If the equipment is supplied with a printer, it is possible to press the ID/Print key
to print the printout with the Total Weight or the Net Weight.
• Press the ? key to activate the Help Function. r
