To lock out and tag out your MINIMAX
TM
unit:
1. Park the vehicle on safe, level ground and apply the parking brake (see Figure 2-19).

2. Make sure that the body is completely unloaded.
3. Switch OFF the hydraulic pump.
4. Turn OFF the engine, remove the key from the ignition, store it in a safe and controlled area
(preferably on yourself), and tape over the ignition switch.
5. Turn OFF and lock the master switch (see Figure 2-20).
6. Chock all wheels.
IMPORTANT: The battery set of the MINIMAX
TM
is equipped with a master switch that must be turned off.

7. Put an “OFF SERVICE” tag on the driver’s wheel and on the front windshield.
8. Use safety props to block any system that could move by gravity (open tailgate, etc.).
9. Drain all air tanks.
10. Verify and inspect any security device and/or mechanism to make sure that there is no bypass
and that they are all functional.
