Cleaning solution
The glass surfaces of the
Leica HM500 can be cleaned
w
ith the Leica HM500 clean-
ing solution.
Used cleaning solution
should be disposed of in
accordance with national
regulations for the disposal
of chemicals.
Always spray the solution onto the microfiber cloth and
never directly onto the Leica HM500!
Microfiber cloth
The Leica HM500 microfiber
cloth is used for cleaning the
eyepieces and the cover
glass.
The old microfiber cloth can
be disposed of as normal
waste.
Eyeglass protection ring (eyepiece)
The Leica HM500 eyeglass
protection ring protects the
user’s eyeglasses from
scratches and so on.
The ring can be changed
easily.
The old eyeglass protection
ring can be disposed of as
normal waste.
Changing the eyeglass protection ring:
➩Carefully remove the old eyeglass protection ring.
➩Press the new eyeglass protection ring lightly onto the
eyepiece until the ring clicks into position.
All replacement parts can be ordered from your
Leica dealer.
