➩ Check connections and the power switch.
➩ If the battery is flat (warning signal),

➩ Charge the battery (see page 23).
➩ Press the knob for manual focus.
➩ Use the Leica HM500 as a fixed-focus
vision aid at a suitable distance from the
object.
➩ Have the Leica HM500 checked as
soon as possible.
➩ Check connections and the power switch.
➩ If the battery is flat (warning signal),
use the power pack.
➩ Charge the battery (see page 23).
➩ Carry on without changing the
magnification factor.
➩ Have the Leica HM500 checked as
soon as possible.
➩ Connect the power adapter.
