• At the end of its expected service life, the Leica HM500
should be disposed of in accordance with the national guide-
lines for waste disposal.
Leica MLS500 light source
• Observe all national environmental requirements and laws for
the disposal of the device or its parts. Separate the compo-
nents (e.g., by plastics, electronics, lamps, metals, and so on)
and dispose of them through the national waste disposal
companies!
• Defective or old lamps must be disposed of properly in accor-
dance with national legislation.
• Metal halide lamps must not be disposed of in household
waste!
