Symbols used on the instrument:
Instrument switched off Instrument switched on
Rotary knob for filter settings A, B and C (D: filter
swung out)
Display for running-time meter and messages
Mechanical brightness control (diaphragm)
Connection for potential equalization
Reset the running-time meter
Fuse symbol: Use fuses of the specified type only!
CE mark of conformity: Confirms conformity with
EU Directive 93/42/EEC for medical products.
Optional: cTÜVus mark: Confirms conformity with
UL2601-1, if attached to the identification label.
Lamps, suitable for direct fastening to normally flam-
mable fastening surfaces.
This symbol indicates the model year.
This symbol on the identification label indicates that
these light sources are designed for Type BF applied
parts, i.e. the light guide connection (flange) is insu-
lated from the rest of the instrument and from the
protective ground.
