but the fault has been cleared
The Leica MLS500 light source was
switched on; afterwards, the
power supply was interrupted
The instrument has been switched off
and is cooling off
The lamp has reached 80 % of its
service life
Rotary knob for filter wheel (60)
has been actuated
Lamp will soon reach the end of its ser-
vice life. Towards the end of the lamp’s
life its brightness will only be about
50 % of its original brightness.
Lamp was not correctly installed
➩ Switch the Leica MLS500 light source off
and back on again.
➩ Switch the Leica MLS500 light source off
and back on again.
➩Wait until the cooling-off time has
completed after the Leica MLS500 light
source was switched off.
➩ Replace the lamp soon.
➩ Turn the rotary knob (60) for the filter
wheel clockwise.
➩ Replace the lamp (see page 41).
➩ Check that the lamp is seated properly.
➩ Check whether the lamp has been pushed
in firmly and is not wobbly (see page 41).
