•Ifyouareinstallingahot-swapredundantpowersupply,locatethebayforthepowersupplyinthe
rearofyourserver.Pressthesmalltabonthemetalshieldinthedirectionasshownandpullthetab
atthesametimetoremovetheshieldoutofthechassis.Storetheshieldincaseyoulaterremove
thepowersupplyandneedtheshieldtocoverthebay.

•Ifyouarereplacingahot-swapredundantpowersupply,locatethefailingpowersupplyintherearof
yourserver,andthendisconnectthepowercordfromthefailinghot-swapredundantpowersupply.
Note:Oneachhot-swapredundantpowersupply,thereisastatusLEDnearthepowercord
connector.WhentheLEDislitingreen,itindicatesthatthehot-swapredundantpowersupplyis
workingcorrectly.WhentheLEDislitinamber,itindicatesthatthehot-swapredundantpower
supplyislikelytofailorhasfailed.
