11 Remove the two screws (C) on the front of the device securing the scanner assembly to the printer frame.
12 Lift the complete scanner assembly away from the printer, and remove.
Installation note: After the new scanner assembly is installed, perform scanner manual registration, see
“Scanner manual registration” on page 227 and scanner calibration, see “Scanner calibration” on
page 203.
ADF top cover assembly removal
1 Open the ADF top cover.
Note: Pay attention to the original position of the top cover.
