Chapter 6 Communication
This chapter briefly introduces the UPS communication.
The communication ports include: intelligent card port, dry contact port, built-in port, 32 port, control port and
USB port
It is recommended to make the signal cable length be less than 3m and keep away from the power cable.
6.1 Installing Intelligent Card
6.1.1 Intelligent Card Port
UPS provides an intelligent card port (see Figure 6-1, taking 20kVA model for example), which is used to install
the communication device options, including SIC card and RDU-SIC card. The intelligent card port and USB port
can be used at the same time.
