Data Units Registers
The 42xxx register series identifies units used by data items in the
30xxx series and run in parallel with the Data Registers. For example,
Data Register 30010’s Units Register is 42010.
Note:
Not all data types
have units.
LWS Particle Counters
may use units not on the
table.
Units are stored as 4 character ASCII strings across 2 registers. If the
Units string contains less than 4 characters or no characters at all, the
rest of the string is padded with NULLs. The table below shows units
that may be sent by the device. Some of these units are not currently
used but are reserved for future use.
NOTE: This register bank is obsolete and is maintained for backward
compatibility.
