Maintenance o f every 2 years
Replacement of cooling water (when using
long-acting coolant)
1. Remove the radiator cover and then remove the
drain plug under the radiator to drain the cooling
water. When draining the sub-tank, remove the
sub-tank and unscrew the cap to drain the water.
2. Drain water from the radiator inlet while filling it
and continue until clean water comes out of the
outlet.
3. Then, tighten the drain plug a nd inject the
long-acting coolant into the radi ator and sub-tank.
After water injection, please tighten the cap and
start the engine to idle for about 5 minutes, then
turn off th e engine to confirm whether the
specified amount of cooling water has been
added.
How t o use antifreeze
(In addition to long-acting co olant)
Antifreeze can reduce the freezing temperature of
water and prevent the damage of oil cylinder and
radiator caused by freez ing of cooling water. When
winter temperatures are below 0 ℃,besuretomix
long-acting (PT) an tifree ze with water and add it to
the radiator and sub-tank.
IMPORTANT
The mixing ratio of an tifreeze varies by
manufacturer and temperature. Please prepare
according t o the mixing scale in "low
temperature precautions".
Do not mix antifreeze from different
manufacturers.
If the radiator cover is opened during operation
or just after the operation stops, sometimes
steam or hot water may erupt, causing burns.
Therefore, please open the radiator cover after
the radiator cools d own.
