4.2 Materials
We recommend the use of the LPKF multilayer kits. They contain all
materials required for the pressing of a multilayer, including the
consumables required for the press process.
4.2.1 Material storage and preparation
Given the large number of multilayer materials available on the market,
we can only give general information on the material storage and
application. In order to obtain optimum results, you should observe the
following measures.
• Read the data sheets on the materials and application information.
• Store the materials in a cool and dry place.
• Store the materials in horizontal position, in order to guratantee their
dimensions stability and exclude distortion.

WARNING
Risk of fire caused by using non-approved materials.
The high temperatures during the press process can set
unsuitable materials in the press on fire.
Use only materials approved for multilayers and observe the
application information in the data sheets.
