› Prior to each use, check the machine, the hydraulik pump, all outer
wiring and the hydraulic hose for visible damage. Pay particular
attention to oil loss at the hydraulic connections and cracked and rub
spots on the wiring.
› If any damage is recognized:
Make sure that the machine can not be used until the damage is
repaired.
Checking the oil-level
› Finish any running programm (see "Canceling/Quitting the program"
on page 48)
› Switch the main switch on the back of the MultiPress S to position 0.
› Wait at least about five minutes to let the oil set.
› Srew off the lid from the filler neck of the automatic hydraulic pump
and pull out the measuring stick.
› Check the oil level on the basis of the markers on the measuring
stick:

Result What to do?
Oil level is in between the
markers, oil level is acceptable.
Insert measuring stick into filler neck.
Fasten the lid by hand.
Oil level is below "Minimum"
marker, too less oil.
Refill hydraulic oil nachfüllen (see
"Changing/refilling hydraulic oil" on
page 62)
Caution! Use approved oils only.
Oil level is above "Maximum"
marker, too much oil.
Drain excessive oil.
