9. Decommissioning, deinstallation and disposal
To decommission and deinstall the machine, proceed as follows:
Decommissioning the machine
› Switch the main switch to the position 0.
› For the MultiPress S with hand pump:
– Make sure that the pump is depressurized.
The manometer shows 0 bar/psi.
– To let down the pressure, if required, rotate the handwheel counter
clockwise.
– Rotate the handwheel clockwise as far as it will go.
› Pull the plug from the mains socket.
Deinstalling the machine
› Remove the cable between press and automatic hydraulic pump.
› Make sure that the screw cap for the oil tank of the hydraulic pump
has been tightened.
› Unscrew the spigot nut of the hydraulic hose at the hand pump/
automatic hydraulic pump and pull off the hydraulic hose.
WARNING
Risk of eye and skin injuries!
When disconnecting the hydraulic hose, oil can spurt and
damage eyes and skin.
When unscrewing the spigot nut, wear safety goggles and
gloves.
CAUTION
Environmental hazard!
When pulling off the hydraulic hose, oil can escape and
damage the environment.
Absorb spilt hydraulic oil and dispose of it properly.
