NOTE:
The following connectors on the shelf dangler cables should be
visible in their respective (rear view) ducts:
404A User Interface Panel (UIP)
NOTE:
This unit is considered a plug-in and shall be installed in accordance with
the instructions detailed in the User Service Manual, Lucent Technologies
363-208-001 DLP518.
TS1 Terminal Block Installation
Step 1:
Mount the TS1 (353A) block on the top right side of the rear of the bay
framework in the frame's predrilled holes. Orient the block so that the
numbering runs from the lower left (1) to upper right (50).
Step 2:
Use the hardware detailed in Figure 2-7 to mount the terminal block and
the cable support rod.
NOTE:
Note that the additional solder-less wrap terminal (Comcode
841595184) on the left side of the 353A block must make con-
tact with the frame, through the screws, for balanced pair
sshielded wires to be attached in the Central Office Clock Con-
nections section of Chapter 3.
NOTE:
If this COT bay will have connections to the Central Office
Clock (refer to the APPLICATIONS section) then it will be
advantageous to wire the required resistors and bay cable
(refer to Chapter 3) before mounting.
